ONE OF THE BEST CENTERS OF BMT IN ANADOLU

The structure of Anadolu includes one of the most famous centers of bone marrow transplantation BMT in the entire Mediterranean. The Center began providing services in June 2010. Today, up to 22 stem cell transplants can be performed simultaneously. Bone marrow transplantation Center of the Anadolu hospital has an outpatient center of the bone marrow and stationary bone marrow clinic, an HLA typing laboratory, a hemapheresis laboratory, a cryopreservation and stem cell processing lab. Diagnosis of cancer at the molecular level is provided by flow cytometry and PCR, which controls the effectiveness of the treatment. The decision on transplantation is taken only after evaluating the benefits of bone marrow transplantation for the patient.

DIAGNOSTICS OF CANCER ON "ZERO" STAGE

Particular attention is paid to early findings of cancerous process. For this aim, in 2016, the clinic in Anadolu started to conduct CTC diagnostics (a test for circulating tumor cells), which became a real breakthrough in the diagnosis of cancer. The CTC method (liquid biopsy, or circulating tumor cells) allows the tumor to be recognized when its size does not exceed 0.5 mm. Patients who pass this diagnosis on time increase the chances of complete cure to 100%. As a rule, behind this analysis, people with a genetic predisposition to oncological diseases turn to the clinic of Anadolu. Also, CTC is used not only in diagnosis, but also during treatment, for rapid adjustment of therapy.
